LACE UP YOUR GLOVES & GET READY TO BECOME A FUNK FIGHTER!

Coconut & Castor Oil

Coconut oil is known for its moisturizing qualities but it also has wonderful antibacterial properties. This is important in those armpits, right? Castor oil has a strong fungicidal property thanks to undecylenic acid. It can be used to treat common fungal diseases like ringworm, athlete’s foot and tinea cruris (crotch itch). It is as effective as the azole drugs used to treat fungal infections, if not more, but without any of the toxic effects of the antifungal drugs.

Shea Butter

This is another one of those amazing things that nature gives us. Raw shea butter is high in vitamins A and E and is incredibly soothing for your skin. Sounds like a good thing to put in such a vulnerable place, like your armpits, huh!?

Beeswax

Raw beeswax helps to stabilize this formula. Beeswax is an inherently excellent choice in skincare products, as it does not clog pores, but it helps the moisturizing properties of the butters and oils to ‘lock’ into your skin so they can do their jobs.

Arrowroot Powder

This is a go-to for natural deodorant formulas, for good reason. Arrowroot not only helps to serve as a thickener in this deodorant, but it also has the power to help draw out toxins. It also doesn't cause the allergic armpit reactions associated with GMO cornstarch.

Sweet! Since when we sweat we are eliminating toxins, why not help draw them out!?

Diatomaceous Earth (DE)

Here’s where things may really get a bit different than what you typically see in natural deodorant formulas.

DE absorbs smells & wetness really well but isn’t alkaline like baking soda which sucks for sensitive skin. By adding DE into the deodorant, we are also giving your sensitive skin a nice dose of much needed silica. Taking silica regularly can prevent damaged skin and can even help with other skin problems like eczema, rashes, acne, cuts and scrapes.

So, not only does DE neutralize bad smells and collect moisture, it also remove toxins from our body. Winning!

Bentonite Clay

On top of being able to draw-out toxins from the body, the clay itself has a range of other benefits. The clay is able to bind to bacteria and waste living on the surface of the skin and within pores then extract them.

Zinc Oxide

Zinc oxide is great for the skin and it creates an environment that bad bacteria hate. Puff. Be Gone!

Tea Tree Oil & Other Essential Oils

Australian Tea Tree Oil has antimicrobial properties that destroy the bacteria on your skin that causes body odor. A study published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology even found that Australian Tea Tree Oil helps kills MRSA and staph infections.

The other pure essential oils are used for their antibacterial, antifungal, and antimicrobrobial properties. Plus they smell flipping fantastic!
